DC Lab at Downtown Camera is a premier photo service destination. At DC Lab, we take pride in our work and we strive to provide you with prints that you too will take pride in.

You, as a photographer, have started the process of creating a work of art. You have bought the equipment, found the location or attended the event; you have seen and captured the moment whether it is an epic landscape, a baby's first step, or a snapshot of friends. But at DC Lab, we believe that a photo is not finished until it is printed and shared. The dedicated technicians at DC Lab work with your image; we adjust the colours, the brightness, and the contrast to bring out the beauty and value in every image we print. We print only on high-quality paper using both silver-halide and inkjet technologies and are equipped to print from locket-sized to 24 x 36 inches.

Since we are a small, independent lab, we are happy to work with you directly to accomplish any goal you have in mind. We can prepare images for slideshows, compile images for posters, and even add text or other graphics.

Every member of the staff at DC Lab is carefully trained and highly knowledgeable of our products and advances in our industry. While we enjoy working with new technologies and providing photographic solutions such as commercial retouching, we don't believe that these advances make older technologies obsolete. We strive to cater to ALL photographers and styles. All our technicians are trained to process 120/220mm and 35mm black and white film, E6 slides, and C41 in house; we digitize negatives and positives from 110mm to 5x7in.; and, we are trained to digitally restore damaged prints and negatives.

DC Lab is also committed to supporting events in the community. In 2008, we were pleased to work with Queen Victoria Public School in their support of Children Helping Children Enterprises and we were the official print lab for the Bruce Trail Photography Club's annual photo contest.

DC Lab is committed to continually improving the quality, availability and environmental impact of our services. We have introduced expanded recycling programs designed to reduce waste; and, we recently introduced a large format printer and installed new Kodak picture kiosks to provide larger and faster prints.
