On this April 1st, 2024, Downtown Camera is proud to share the launch of our new blog, The Downtown Camera Blog For People Who Read Blogs Maybe And Also Just People We Guess A Blog For Really Anyone Who Might Enjoy A Focus On Photography And Gear And Things Happening At The Store It’s Our Blog Here You Go, known affectionately by long-time fans as TDCBFPWRBMAAJSIGABFRAWMEAFOPAGATHATSUIBHYG, or just TDCBFPWRBABFRAWMEAFOPAGATHATSIOBHYG for short.
The blog will be a way for us to share some things with you about the store, about photography, perhaps even about the relationship between grapes and raisins if we have the time (you may find the connection to be most surprising); this place will be recompense for all the stories and truths you’ve shared with us along the way.
Will it be a no-nonsense space of seriousness for years to come? We hope so. We really do.
With today’s blog post we regret to announce the end of The Downtown Camera Blog For People Who Read Blogs Maybe And Also Just People We Guess A Blog For Really Anyone Who Might Enjoy A Focus On Photography And Gear And Things Happening At The Store It’s Our Blog Here You Go, effective immediately.
Sometime between zero days and one day of operation, the tireless, hardworking editors of our blog have decided to end it on a high note, even if that’s the first note.
Barring some sort of annual day of deception happening to coincide with our inaugural publication, or something equally as improbable, then this is it, and the blog is no more.
While it is regrettable that the first post would bring with it such unfortunate news, to our credit, we are delivering accurate, timely information, just as we had set out to do with the launch of the blog. A resounding success, if you think about it —under budget, too.
We thank you for your brief, brief patronage.
